Anam Cara Foundation creates a space where women
can come together to develop a community of support.
From the Irish for “Soul Friend”, the Anam
Cara Foundation seeks
and provides opportunities for women to develop lasting, supportive
relationships with others and themselves. Through a variety of
mechanisms and projects, we seek to provide women with tools
to empower themselves and those around them.

Salon with Peggy Kelsey of Afghan Women's Project
Peggy has graciously chosen to share
her experiences, stories, photos and knowledge with
those of our community in an intimate, salon format.
This is an opportunity to learn first hand what life
is like for these women and children, what organizations
are doing in the country, what the women themselves
are doing and what we can do, if anything, to make a
difference. |
